Burns Fatal To Choctaw Boy of 10
A 10 year old Choctaw boy who was seriously burned when at
hot water tank explored August 7, died Friday.
Charles R. Dutton, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Parris,
Route 3, Choctaw, suffered burn over 80 percent of his body when
the tank exploded in the home of his uncle, David Buska, 25,
Choctaw.
Bouska, a construction company co-owner and the youth's older
brother, Randal were injured.
The boy was admitted in serous condition at Midwest City
Memorial Hospital.
He was flown August 14 to a Shrine supported burn treatment
in Cincinnati.
He was a Baptist and a student at Nicoma Park Intermediate
School.
Funeral arrangements are pending with Hunter Funeral Home.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Charlene Parish, his
sttp-father Monroe Parish, a brother, Randal and two sistrs,
Vickcy Lynn and Kathleen, all of the home; and his father
Charles R. Dutton, Sr., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
