Endsley, Parents, Nicoma Park. Born March 21, 1922. Enlisted May
17, 1944. Decorations : Presidential Unit Citation ; Order of
the Purple Heart ; three Battle Participation Stars in the
European Theater of Operations. Attended Taft High School,
Oklahoma City. Sailed for duty overseas in January, 1945. Died
March 24, 1945, in action in Germany.

Darryl Endsley, 4, likes to try to play on the old guitar his
father left him. Pfc. Edwin O. Endsley was killed March 24,
1945. Darryl's favorite song, which he sings often is, "Waiting
for my Train to Come In" He speaks often of his father,
whom he remembers well. He wants to ride in an airplane... He
lives with his mother, Mrs. Amy Endsley, at 3712 NW 11.
