Christoper David "Chris" Evans, most affectionately knows as "Daddy" passed away Friday, May 18, 2007 in Midwest City. Born February 24, 1960 in Oklahoma City to Bob Evans, and Maggie Evans. Chris was a graduate of Choctaw High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid camper and a family man who always included his wife and girls in everything he did.
Chris married Kathy Briskey on May 16, 1984 and together they just celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary. Chris most recently worked as a salesman at Home Depot and will be remembered by his family everyday as they live in the home he remodeled from wall to wall.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Robert Evans, IV and Michael Evans.
He is survived by his wife Kathy of the home and 2 daughters: Nikki and Heather; a step-granddaughter: Makayelinn Barton-Stillman; one brother, Billy Evans and his wife Sherry; 3 nieces, a nephew and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Chris will be held at Choctaw Road Baptist Church on Monday, May 21, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. with interment following at
Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw. Memorial donations may be made to the Chris Evans Memorial Fund in c/o BancFirst; 2414 N. Wesminster in Nicoma Park, OK; 73066. (405) 769-5611.
