Evelyn Rosemary, age 73, went home to
meet her Lord Feb. 20, 2006. She was born Feb. 1, 1933 to Andy
Ferlow and Pearl Gertrude (Baker) Binam in Chouteau, Okla. She
was married to George Evans Aug. 4, 1954 in Tulsa, Okla. They
had lived in Harrah since 1964. Rosemary accepted the Lord on
Aug. 30, 1981 and was a member and attended Harrah First Baptist
Church. She loved to cook, to can green beans, to sew and do
needlepoint. She won many ribbons at the county fair. Her first
and foremost joy of her life was her family and spoiling her
grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by one sister,
Ardcllie Shrum; two brothers, Arthur and Ira Binam; and one
granddaughter, Kristina Mane Evans. She is survived by her
husband, George; two sons, Terry Eugene Evans and wife Becky of
Euless, Texas and Danny Joe and wife Beverly Evans of Harrah,
Okla.; one daughter Lucinda Gayle and husband, John Hunter of
Harrah, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Terry Evan II, Ashley Rampey
and husband Chris, Alisha Windmiller, Paul Windmiller, Susan
Hunter, Danny Joe Evans II and John Zachary Hunter; one brother,
Clifford and wife, Corlette Binam of Catoosa, Okla.; one
sister-in-law, Aileen Binam of lnola, Okla., and a number of
nieces and nephews and friends.
Funeral services were held at Bill
Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday,
Feb. 22, 2006 with burial at Harrah
Memory Lane Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or
Harrah First Baptist Building Fund.
