Marine Veteran Bob Ferguson Is Dead At 49
Bob Ferguson, 49 year old city salesman of 3529 NW 24, died
Tuesday at St. Anthony hospital from a heart ailment.
Services for Ferguson will be Thursday at 10 am in the chapel of
Smith & Kernke funeral home.
Born in Norman, Ferguson graduated from high school there and
attended the University of Oklahoma. He served in the marine
corps during World War II.
He belonged to the Methodist church and the American Legion.
Ferguson had been on the sales staff of the Ozmun Wholesale Co.
here 12 years and previously was associated with the H. J. Heniz
Co.
He is survived by his wife, Mary E. and two sons, Mike and
Lonnie Ferguson, all of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Frank
Lesser, west of the city, and Mrs. Jack Matthews, Riverton,
Calif., and a brother, John of Houston.
