Monday Services Set for E. Fisher
Edward E. Fisher, 70, of5800 N Harvard Drive died Friday in
Baptist Hospital. Services will be 2pm Monday at Hahn-Cook,
Street & Draper Funeral Home with burial in
Fairlawn Cemetery.
Fisher was born in Carl Junction, MO and came to Oklahoma
City in 1919. He was a former chief electrical operator for
Oklahoma Gas & Electric, Co. and in later years was owner of
Fisher Electric Service.
Fisher and his wife, Opal, celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary, April 4, 1970.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mr. F. E. Nelson and
Mrs.. Jack Toberlin; five grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Opal Marie McKean Fisher (Mama') Casteel, was born July 14, 1901
in Missouri. She moved to Oklahoma where she was married to
Edward C. Fisher, residing in Harrah for 25 years. They were
married 51 years till his death in 1971. She was Co-Owner of
Fisher Electric Service for 15 years. She was later married to
Glen Casteel for 4 years until his death in 1983. She is also a
Past Matron of Eastern Star, Travel Coordinator of ORCTC, Past
Pres. of Young at Heart, Past Pres. of AARP 1951, and Past Pres.
of Ladies Auxiliary to the V.F.W. 4520.
She is survived by one sister, Emily Jane Arbuckle of OKC, two
daughters; Katherlyn M. Fisher Nelson of the Village, Mollie
Marie Lovelace of Moore , five grandchildren, twelve great
grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many nieces &
nephews. Mama' is loved and will be missed by all. She is a
member of St. Johns United Methodist Church 1755 N. Meridian,
where services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 21, 1992.
With interment following at Fairlawn Cemetery.
