Mother Is Dead; Her Baby Lives
Wife of Undersheriff Garrison Dies at the Age of 26 Years
Anna Jane Garrison, wife of Harvey Garrison, undersheriff of
Oklahoma County, died at 6:55 o'clock last night, after eight days of illness.
Mrs. Garrison was ____ until a few minutes before her death. Her mother,
Mrs. E. M. Conway, her brother, Bud T. Conway, of El Reno, and members of
Mr. Garrison's family were at her bedside at the time of her death.
She leaves an infant son and daughter, Pauline, three years of age.
Two physicians have waited on her almost constantly during her illness, but
little hope of her recovery has been entertained for the last three days.
The body was removed to the residence of Miss Sula Garrison, 1309 North
Dale avenue, and funeral services will be conducted there this afternoon by
the Rev. J. H. C. Smith, pastor of the First Christian church of Oklahoma
City, in which creed Mrs. Garrison was a believer. Interment will be held at
Fairlawn cemetery.
Mrs. Garrison was born in Clarke, Neb., April 25, 1882, and was first
married to Hayden Gilbert four years ago. By this marriage one daughter,
Pauline, was born. The husband, who was a ___man, was killed two years ago
in a wreck. She was then married to Harvey Garrison, son of Sheriff George
W. Garrison, November 7, 1906. Besides the mother and brother who were with
her at the time of her death, Mrs. Garrison is survived by a sister, Mrs.
Mildred Estes and Frank Conway of Caddo county. They have bee notified of
the death of their sister.

Wife of Undersheriff Is Buried In Fairlawn
Funeral services of Mrs. Anna Jane Garrison, wife of Undersheriff Harvey
Garrison, who died early Saturday morning, were conducted at the residence
of Miss Sula Garrison, 1301 North Dale avenue, at 4 o'clock Sunday
afternoon, by the Rev. J. H. C. Smith, pastor of the First Christian church.
Interment followed in Fairlawn cemetery. A large number of friends and
relatives attended the services and accompanied the body to the cemetery.
