Bill George Gately of Edmond, Okla. died Feb. 28, 2006 in Oklahoma City. He was 57. Bill was born Dec. 23, 1948 in Eugene, Ore.

He was preceded in death by his father George Gately.

Bill is survived by his wife, Marie Gately; mother, Joe Ann Gately; children, Sonja Hill and Aaron Light; sisters, Kathy Hall and Sheryl Poindexter; and four grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Friday, March 3, 2006 in the First United Methodist Church in Edmond.
