Aged Man Beaten

Tom Grant, an aged man, was probably fatally injured in a fight with Ed Beecham at 519 West Eighth street, Tuesday night. The nature of the trouble was not learned by the police. Grant was carried to St. Anthony hospital where attending physicians state the chances for his recovery are slight. Beecham escaped and could not be located by the police at an early hour Wednesday.
