Donald F. Hamilton

SYRACUSE - Donald Franklin Hamilton, 61, died Dec. 26, 2008, at Hamilton County Hospital, Syracuse. He was born July 19, 1947, in Oklahoma City, the son of James Everett and Opal May Everett Hamilton. A resident of Syracuse since 2006, he had worked for Mid-Continent Truck Sales.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era

On Sept. 26, 1975, he married Twyla Yvonne Valentine. She survives. Other survivors include: an adopted brother, Jim and wife Cynthia, Napa, Calif.; a niece; a nephew; and numerous other family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be at a later date.
