Jasper N. Haney, 88, of Heavener, formerly of Oklahoma City,
died Monday in a Poteau hospital. Services were Thursday at
Paylor's Midwest City Funeral Home with burial in Arlington
Memorial Park Cemetery.
He moved to Heavener from Oklahoma City five years ago and
was a retired farmer. Haney was a member of Hillcrest Baptist
Church, Oklahoma City.
Survivors include a son, David, Red Oak; seven daughters,
Mrs. Dink Birdwell, Modesto, Calif; Mrs. Irvin Simmons,
Heavener; Mrs. Olin Cheek, Madera, Calif.; Mrs. Jesse Ford,
Choctaw; Mrs. Denver Dedmond, Reedley, Calif.; Mrs. Frank Clark,
Poteau, and Mrs. Bill Hill, 1001 N. Pine; a step-son Leon
Williams, San Bernardino, Calif.; and a sister, Kate Shores,
Waldron, Ark.
