Sherrill Ann Harrison, 52, of Fort Worth, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at her home. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mineral Wells. The Rev. Michael Whitlock officiated.  Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Harrison was born Oct. 18, 1956, in Oklahoma City, the daughter of Jimmy and Ruth Joanne Vickroy Washburn. She moved to Mineral Wells in 1980 where she lived until 2005 when she moved to Fort Worth to care for her father. She could not resist a good book or crossword puzzle and also enjoyed singing and crochet. She was a Baptist Pentecostal.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Harrison Sr. of Forth Worth; daughters Betty Jo Harrison of Mineral Wells, Alicia Harrison of Azle and Amanda Harrison of Fort Worth; father Jim Washburn of Fort Worth; and eight grandchildren, Tricia, Nathan, Hunter, David, Ben, Katie, Aaralynn and Maialynn.

She was preceded in death by a brother, David Carl Washburn; granddaughter Beth Ann Harrison; mother Ruth Joanne Washburn; and son Jimmy Harrison Jr.
