OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Martin Hauan, 85, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2001. 

Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, Oklahoma City. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Carthage, Mo. under the direction of Hahn-Cook/ Street and Draper Funeral Directors, Oklahoma City.

Martin Hauan died at his home in Oklahoma City on Thursday, April 26, 2001. Marty was born on January 11, 1916 in Thompson, Iowa. He was the son of Norwegian immigrants. Anton and Marit Hauan, and was the only one of their six children to be born in America. When he was three years old, the family moved to Seattle, Wash. where he lived until the death of his mother in 1929. At age fourteen , he and his father returned to farming in Thompson, Iowa.
