J.W. Haworth, a member of the United States army stationed at Camp Bowie, Fort Worth,Texas was buried yesterday afternoon at Fairlawn cemeterywith military honors.

Funeral services were held at Street and Draper's undertaking parlors and at the grave by Siloam lodge 276, A. F. & A. M.

Mr. Haworth was formerly a boy scoutmaster before entering the army and a detachment of boy SCOUTS acted as an honorary escort to the cemetery. as did a squad from Company I, Third regiment. Oklahoma national guard, who fired a salute of three volleys over the grave. Haworth died last Friday of pneumonia, following an attack of Spanish influenza.
