Clayton Edward Haycraft, 51, of Kansas City, KS, passed away January 21, 2009, at his home.

Memorial services will be at 6:00 PM, Sat., Jan. 24, 2009, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th St. in Kansas City, KS. Ed was a liver transplant recipient in 2007 and would like memorial contributions made to the University of Nebraska Transplant Team.

Mr. Haycraft was born Dec. 28, 1957 in Dayton, OH to Bill and Wilma Haycraft. He had lived in this area for the last 23 years. Ed was a lead maintenance man for the Kansas City Kansas Housing Authority. He attended St. Paul's Episcopal Church and was an Army Veteran during the Vietnam era. Ed was an active member of AA.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma.

Survivors include wife, Christy (Steineger) Haycraft of the home daughter, Christie Taylor, Rogers, AR father, Bill Haycraft, Sr., brothers, Billy Haycraft, Jr. and Donald Haycraft, all of Oklahoma City, OK grandchildren, Jacob and Xander numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
