John & Paris Hazel and Tyler Brown.
A fire broke out about 2:30 a.m. Friday at 5108 Georgia Place.
The only survivor of the fire, Angie Knight, 29, is in good
condition today at Integris Baptist Medical Center, said
spokeswoman Brooke Cayot.
Knight's husband, John Hazel, 29, died in the fire, as did
her daughters, Tyler Brown, 12 and Paris Hazel, 7.
All three died of smoke inhalation, the medical examiner's
office said.

Services for John Hazel, Tylar Brown, and Paris Hazel will be
2:00 PM, Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Shekinah Fellowship Church
at 412 SW 104th. They will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial
Park in Norman. John Anthony Hazel, 29, and his two beautiful
daughters, Tylar LeShea' Brown, 12, and Paris Destiny Hazel, 7,
passed away in a tragic fire in their home in the early morning
hours on Friday, March 6, 2009.
Both Paris and Tylar attended Houchin Elementary. Both girls
were beautiful, shining lights that touched many, many lives.
They are survived by their mother Angie Knight. Johnny was
raised in Moore, Oklahoma, and has resided in his home in
Oklahoma City for the last 8 years. He was the strength for
many. He loved his family and children with all of his heart.
Johnny is survived by his mother Theresa Stangl of OKC; his wife
Angie Knight; and brothers, Michael Ferrin, Jr. and Joseph
Stangl, both of Missouri. All three will live in our hearts
forever.
