Henson, Anna Belle, age 85, passed away on Friday, March 25. She was born January 04, 1920 to Lewis Lee and Maybelle Crim in McKinney, Texas. She moved to Oklahoma City with her parents and graduated from Capitol Hill High School. She married Eugene Lee "Nick" Henson in October 1939 and had two children, Harris and Delores "Dee" Smith. Her first love was growing flowers. She had the ability to start plants from cuttings and grow in almost any container, yard, and unique settings. She also loved to crochet, garage sales and swap meets. She easily made friends with neighbors and customers at her garage sales and swap meets.
She will be remembered for keeping the Crim, Henson, Cargill, Williams, Miller, Hamill, and Wheeler family legacy alive in each of us.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; sister, Marie; brother, Walt; husband, Nick; daughter, Delores; and grandsons, Gavin and Kevin.
She is survived by her sister, Emma Lee Vasily; son Harris and wife Sandi; grandsons, Scott Smith, Dan O'Dell, Hoyt Henson; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 29 at
Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City with visitation of family and friends at Don's Alley Restaurant,
Del City.
