Billy Wayne Herndon, Sr., born July 9, 1949 in OKC and died Sept. 19, 2005.

Preceded in death by parents, Florence Montgomery, Teddy Bedford Herndon and one brother Tim Herndon.

He was the father of Tammy Duck, Eulanda Mehan, Tennessa Herndon, Billy Wayne Herndon, Jr. and Melvin Burgin. Grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandson on the way. He is survived by two sisters, Barbara McClure, Norma Howell and husband Gary Howell and 2 brothers, Teddy Herndon, Everett Herndon, Carol Herndon. He was of the Cherokee Indian Heritage, educated in Oklahoma City, and an avid traveler. He also was an excellent auto mechanic. He accepted Christ two years ago and received him as his friend.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Arlington Cemetery.
