Frances Gaye Langham Herndon, 70, of Oklahoma City succumbed on August 3, 2006 after her third bout with cancer. She had overcome cancers during twenty years and had survived two attacks before a third one took her from us too early. She was born August 18, 1935 in Dallas, Texas to Edgar P. and Shirley Langham.
Those loved ones surviving her include her husband Royce, her son, Stephen, daughters Cynthia and Carolyn, and her sister, Carolyn. She also saw six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren including Daylys Tatum Dan whose upcoming first birthday on August 7 Frances would have rejoiced to see more. Frances had an overabundance of creativity and kept herself busy whether it was designing stained glass, preparing gourmet meals, decorating her home and garden, playing with her beloved dog, Colby, or enjoying her family. Her wry sense of humor reminds us who loved her to exult in every moment as she did.
With a spirit of joy, family and friends will be celebrating her life at First Bethany Assembly of God 4801 N. Rockwell, Bethany in the white school house 12 o'clock.
