HERNDON Hettie L., 83, long time resident of Okla. City died Sat. Sept. 4, 1993 at the Briarcliff Nursing Home in Tyler, Tx. after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Herndon is survived and will be lovingly missed by a daughter, Linda Silvernail and son-in-law Dale of Tyler, son, Larry Herndon and daughter-in-law Jane of LaGrange, Il., 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, sisters; Myrtle Updike and Marie Johnson of OKC and Edna Clark, of Binger, OK. Mrs. Herndon had been an active member of First Baptist Church of OKC since the 1920's.

Services 2 p.m. Wed. Sept. 8 in Louise Pritchard Chapel of First Baptist Church OKC. Services led by Dr. Gene Garrison, the family suggests expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to the Alzheimers Association or to the First Baptist Church of OKC.
