Daily Oklahoman, The Oklahoma City, Oklahoma July 9, 1998, page 30 HERNDON Richard L., of McAlester, formerly of Edmond and Okla. City, passed July 6, 1998. He left two daughters, Jennifer and Jill, whom he loved dearly. Also, aunts Mary Gates and Virginia Mace and brother Ronald Charles. Richard received a Bachelor and Master's Degree in education from UCO. He taught at the Jackie Brennan Correctional Facility. He was a member of the Christian Science Church. Richard is "Wiser today, healthier and happier than yesterday." But, he will be missed.
