Sue Herndon, formally Sue Bradshaw, died March 13th, 2005 at the age of 72 after a long illness. She was the daughter of Lyle and Pauline Bradshaw, born in Oklahoma City on May 3, 1932. She graduated from Classen High School in 1950 and attended Oklahoma A&M in Stillwater. 

She and her husband Ray were married on November 17, 1956 and were married for 48 wonderful years. They lived in The Village until moving to Houston in 1962. Before moving to Houston, Sue worked in advertising at the Daily Oklahoman. While living in Houston, Sue was very active along with her husband in the Sports Car Club of America, being awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award for her many years of service as a Registrar. Ray and Sue moved back to Oklahoma in November of 2004 and were residents at the Statesman's Club in The Village. She was a member of River Oaks Baptist Church in Houston, Texas for 42 years. 

Sue is survived by her husband Ray Herndon of Oklahoma City, a loving sister Barbara Holland of Sacramento California, two beloved step-daughters Jan McCall of Oklahoma City and Kristie Hall of Edmond, sister-in-law Virginia Springer, six nieces and nephews, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 17th at 2:00pm at Matthews Funeral Home located at 601 S. Kelly in Edmond, OK. Donations may be made to Oklahoma Christian Home in Edmond or the Arthritis Foundation. Services are under the direction of the Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, OK
