OBITUARY

George Staley Hevron, the son of George W. and Nancy Hevron, was born in Spencer County, Indiana, August 15, 1896, and died in Spencer, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, December 8, 1902.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. L. Bilby, the pastor of the Spencer M.E. Church, Scriptural lesson; Rev. 7: 9-17; text, Joshua 3:4. "Ye have not passed this way heretofore." A class of little girls of the Sunday school sang, "Suffer the Children to Come Unto Me," and "Lord, We Come In Our Youthful Ways." The ____ our little friend helped to sin on Children's Day last May.

His bright, smiling, happy face will be greatly missed by his little friends of the public school, by the teachers and officers and scholars of the Sunday school, and by his pastor, who will no more clasp his hand in welcome to the Sunday services.
