Hazel
L. Hill, 90, of Midwest City, passed away January 22, 2009. She
was born March 27, 1918 to William and Daisy (Kendrick) Harris
in Washington, OK. Hazel graduated from Chickasha High School
and the Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha. On December 8,
1939 she married Louis G. Hill. Hazel was a member of Ridgecrest
Church of Christ since 1950 and a substitute teacher for the
Mid-Del Schools for over 25 years.
She is survived by her two sons: William L. Hill and wife,
Patricia of Salisbury, MD and James T. Hill and wife Sherry of
Midwest City, daughter Mary Bozarth of Choctaw grandchildren:
Kerry Wilcoxson and husband Todd, Karen Bustos, Susan Bozarth,
Grant Hill and wife Vanessa, Amanda Ziegler and husband Chris,
and Joseph L. Hill step-grandchildren Mike Fabricius, Stephanie
Martinez, Steve Gammon, Chrissy Boydstun and husband Brian
great-grandchildren: Matt Martinsen and wife Jennifer, Jordan
Martinsen, Kylie Martinsen, Ethan Hill, Maisie Hill, and Logan
Ziegler step-great-grandchildren: Taylor Wilcoxson, Kaitlynn
Fabricius, Jastin and Colyn Gammon and great-great-granddaughter
Emma Martinsen.
She was preceded in death by her husband Louis in 1983, 3
sisters, 2 brothers, and son-in-law James Bozarth. Funeral
services will be held 2 pm, Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the
Ridgecrest Church of Christ with interment at
Arlington Memory
Gardens.
