Retired City Motorman Dies
Services for Adolphus J. Horton, 58, of 1522 NW 2 will be at 10 am Monday at Gene Adams Funeral Service, with burial in Bethany Cemetery. He died Friday in a city nursing home.
Horton was a retired street car motorman. He was born in Atlanta, GA and had lived in Oklahoma City 25 years. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Baptist church.
Survivors include his wife, Ida M, four stepsons, George Johnson, 4200 NW 14th, and Grant, Billy, and Richard Johnson, all living in California, and two step daughters, Mrs. Gloria Dryden, Denver and Mrs. Joan South of the home.Submitted by Fronia.
