Edmond - Mabel A. Houghton, 84, of Sapulpa died Tuesday in Sapulpa.

Services are scheduled for 10 am Friday in the Baggerly Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, Edmond, with the Rev. Neal Mayfield officiating.

Burial will be in Gracelawn Cemetery, Edmond.

She was born Nov. 30, 1906, in Joplin, Mo. and married Harry Houghton Sr. on February 17, 1926 in Okmulgee.

Mrs. Houghton moved to Sapulpa from Edmond about a year ago. She had lived in Edmond since 1943.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Edmond.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Houghton, Sr. and two sons, Garnett and Harry Houghton, Jr.

Survivors include son Sam Houghton of Sapulpa; step-son Harry Douglas Houghton of Eugene, Ore.; daughter Maudean Segress of Broken Arrow; brothers Charles Moss of Edmond, Glenn A. Moss of Manassas, Va., and William Moss of Senora, Calif.; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
