Lillis Howell, 92, passed away on Sept. 5, 2003. She was born
in Sentinel, OK on Aug. 5, 1911 to Thomas and Anna Lear Boulware.
She will be remembered by her family as a gentle, sweet spirit
and loved by all. She spent all her life in Oklahoma and lived
in Oklahoma City since 1946. She married Kermit Howell in 1932.
She is survived by son Leon Howell and wife Jean of OKC and son
RonHowell and wife Margaret of Edmond. Grandchildren include Don
and Lori Eicher, David and Sharon Eichler, Ken and Leslie
Eichler, Kathy and Jerry Lavender, Debbie and Tony Latture,
Julie Howell, Jeff Howell and 16 great-grandchildren and 9
great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister,
Willy Robertson of Moberly, MO, a nephew, Edwin Boulware of OKC
and several nieces.
She was an avid bowler and was in many leagues for over 40
years. She was devoted to her family and lived in the Oklahoma
Christian Apts., Edmond, for the last 2 1/2 years. She attended
church at St. Luke's UMC. Her love for animals was well known.
A special thanks to Dr. Cory Nagode, the residents of OK
Christian Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, Sept. 9 at
Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 S. Broadway, Edmond.
