Wayne Huddleston, Sr, 76 was called to go home to the Lord on April 24th, 2004. He was brought into this world Oct. 18, 1927 in Purcell, OK. He served his country for two years in the Korean War. After returning to the States in 1955 he met the love of his life Mable Audene Boggs and they were married on May 6th 1955. Wayne was known for his many hours of coaching little league sports at the Southside Optimist Club in OKC. He coached all his five children, and loved watching his grandchildren play until his health prevented it. After retirement Wayne worked for the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club for 17 years.

He is preceded in death by his father Robert Jewell and mother Joy Delight Huddleston .

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mable Audene of the home; 4 sons, David and wife Susan of Moore, Robert and wife Denise of OKC, Rick and wife Marla of OKC, and Greg and wife Barbara of Mustang; one daughter, Dianne and husband Jerry Jeffries of OKC; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; 1 brother Hubert and wife Charolette of Norman and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Wayne was loved by all who knew him and will be missed dearly. Husband, Brother, Dad, Papa, Uncle and Friend. We'll see you soon.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday April 27th at Oakcrest Church of Christ.
