OBITUARY

Dr. Hunt Dies At Local Hospital

Dr. Myron Watson Hunt of Moreland, NY, died at a local hospital Monday morning at 9 o'clock from typhoid fever. He had been traveling through Oklahoma when he became stricken with the disease and was brought to the local instituted (sic) for treatment.

Dr. Hunt was 55 years of age. The body will be sent to his former home, in Moreland, for burial. Newton L. Hunt of Cortland, MY and Leon Hunt of Bartlett, NY, sons of Dr. Hunt, arrived just prior to their father's death.


GRAVES FUNERAL

The funeral service for John W. Graves, who died Saturday, was held Monday  afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence, 214 West Ninth street. The Rev. Edgar C. McVey, pastor of the St. Luke's Methodist Episcopal church, south, delivered the sermon. Rev. Mr. McVey was an old friend and former pastor of Mr. Graves at Chillicothe, Mo. The music was furnished by a mixed quartet composed of Miss Maitie Lou Catron, Mrs. C. B. Ames, Merle Bennett and Mr. Wilson. The pallbearers were T. M. Richardson, J. L. Wilkins, J. L. Wyatt, Cy Blanchard, J. O. Maillson and A. L. Welsh. Honorary pallbearers were E. H. C__k, Henry Seales, Tom Bogers, Ben Thornton, Sam Calhoun and Tom Boydston. The exercises at the grave were conducted by the Elks, of which order Mr. Graves was a prominent member. Interment was at Fairlawn.


E. O. Wright Dies
