Roy E. "Nug" Jennings

Services for Roy E. "Nug" Jennings, 66, Oklahoma City, were held Saturday, Feb. 23, at 10:30 a.m. at Baggerley South Funeral Chapel, Oklahoma City, with Rev. Bob Willis officiating. Interment was at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.

Mr. Jennings was born February 26, 1935 to George Jennings and Gertrude Frantz Jennings in Dougherty. He died February 20 in Oklahoma City.

On March 4, 1977 he married Tresha Rose in Oklahoma City.

Mr. Jennings grew up in the Dougherty and Sulphur area. He attended school at Dougherty before moving to Oklahoma City and attending school at Crooked Oak. He owned and operated G & R Cable. He was 32nd degree Mason. Mr. Jennings enjoyed being with his family and outdoors. He also collected guns and knives as a hobby.

He is survived by his wife, Tresha Jennings, Oklahoma City; his children, Jodi and Bill Crawford, Sulphur, John and Dawn Jennings, Oklahoma City, Tina West, Moore, Mike and Aminda Rose, Edmond, Elizabeth and Dan Puig, Dallas; one sister, Norma Williamson, and her husband, Jimmy, Oklahoma City; two brothers, Larry Jennings, and his wife, Carolyn, Tuttle, and J.L. Jennings and his wife, Helen, Elmore City; eight grandchildren, Courtni and Marcus Crawford, Jesse and Justin Jennings, Shasta and Nigel West, Christen and Brian Rose and mother-in-law, Ola Mae Kelley, Oklahoma City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Wanda Lee Jennings.
The family members served as pallbearers.
