Mildred M. Johnson, passed from this life on February 25, 2002. She was born in Beaver County, Oklahoma, on February 11, 1909, to Robert E. and Laura M. Lee, who Homesteaded 160 Acres in the area of Elmwood, Oklahoma. Her father was killed by lightning in 1912, at which time the family returned to Arcadia, Oklahoma and later moved to Oklahoma City. She was a 43 year employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone Co., retiring May 1, 1968.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Harold Dawson Lee, Sr. and her husband, Gilbert Johnson of 43 years.
She is survived by her nephew, Harold D. Lee, Jr. and his wife, Mary Frances, and their 2 daughters, and family. She is also survived by very special nephews and nieces of her husband, Paul Johnson and family, Richard Dane Johnson and family, and Sandra McNamara and family. Many other special members of the Johnson Family tree survive. She was a longtime member of the Oriole Rebecca Lodge and a Past Noble Grand of good standing. She is also a member of Draper Park Christian Church. Services will be conducted at Draper Park Christian Church, 10:00 A.M., Friday,
Burial to follow at Sunny Lane
Cemetery.
