Mr. David Wayne Jones Sr. was born at McAlester, Oklahoma on February 3,1950. He departed this life on November 13, 2002, at the Southwest Medical Center in OKC at the age of (52) years. He attended school at Crooked Oak, and graduated from there in (1968). He was a landscaper by trade, and retired from the profession in (1995) due to an injury. He was of the Protestant Faith. He enjoyed his passion for music, which included singing Gospel and Rock.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny L. Jones.
He is survived by his family; wife, Pat Jones of Midwest City, (2) sons, David Jones Jr. of OKC, and Michael Jones of Midwest City; (1) daughter, Cassandra Jones of Midwest City; (1) brother, Johnny Jones of Choctaw; (1) sister, Carole Messex of Wilburton; his mother and step-father, Venita and Thilbert Rolston of Choctaw; his step-mother, Shirley Jones of Wilburton; (2) grandchildren, Kristian and Julian Jones of Okc, and special friend, Kay Precure of OKC, and other relatives and friends.
Service 2:00p.m.Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002 at Memorial Chapel Funeral Chapel, Noble, Ok with Chaplain Mike Garner officiating. Internment in Blackburn Cemetery, Noble, Ok. Services directed by Memorial Chapel Funeral Service of Noble.
