KEITH, Mrs. Hazle Bess of 6333 S. Broadway Ave, OKC. Departed
to be with her Lord Dec. 29, 1982, after a lengthy illness. She
moved to OKC from Duncan Ok at the age of 3 with her parents Mr.
& Mrs. George W. Maddox, who have preceded her in death. She
attended Franklin Grade School and was a graduate of Central
HighSchool. She was an active member of the Capitol Hill Baptist
Church since 1951. She took early retirement in Dec. 1977 as
Management Assistant in the Management and Systems Division at
the OKC Air Force Station after 21 1 1/4 years of Federal
service. She received numerous outstanding and sustained
Superior Performance Awards.
Also preceding her in death was her husband Wm. Cecil Keith
and her oldest son Wm. Haskell Keith who was the first Del City
Officer killed in the line of duty.
Survivors are her younger son Kenneth D. Keith and his
daughter Kelli Dyane Keith, 3 children of Haskell Keith, Kim,
Jeremy, and Shawn. 2 sisters, Ruth Miller of Seminole Ok and
Faye Maddox of OKC, and a host of friends and other relatives.
Services will be Friday, 2 pm, at the Colonial Chapel of the
Vondel L. Smith and Sons Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven
Cemetery.
