Eastman Miller Lawson, 81, of OKC, passed away July 7, 1996.
Born March 14, 1915 in Rogersville, TN to Matt and Nancy Lawson
. He was a retired sheetmetal manufacturer at Tinker AFB and a
WWII veteran of the European, African, and S. Pacific Theatres.
He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and Hillcrest
United Methodist Church.
Eastman enjoyed hunting and fishing and he loved each and every
one of his grandchildren very much. He was the World's Greatest
Grandad.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margie Lawson;
daughter, Linda Marie Lawson; granddaughter, Rachel Craig; and 5
brothers. He is survived by his wife, Marie Lawson of the home;
sons, James Lawson of Chuckey, TN and Richard Lawson of OKC;
stepsons, James Craig of Moore, OK, and Larry Craig of New
Albany, In; sisters, Darcus Young of Greenville, TN, Mary Tucker
of Muncie, In. and Nell Shorter and Betty Barker, both of
Rogersville, Tn; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and
a host of nieces and nephews. Memorials m ay be made to the
United Parkinson's Foundation. Services will be 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday, July 10, 1996 at the South Colonial Chapel. Interment
Fairlawn Cemetery
