Donald Gene Linville
1939-2006

Funeral services for Donald Gene Linville, 67, of Edmond are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Crossings Community Church. Burial will be at Gracelawn Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Baggerley Funeral Home.

Linville was born Feb. 26, 1939, in Weatherford. He died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, in Edmond.

Linville had a master’s degree in theology and was a Southern Baptist minister. He was instrumental in integrating Langston University. Linville also was a life insurance salesman for 31 years and a member of Crossings Community Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Christopher Gregg.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Linville of Edmond; three children, Tim Linville, Natalie Gregg and Adam Johnson; his sister, Joanne Pruner; and four grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Genesis House and Living Life Ministries through Crossings Community Church.

Formal viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Baggerley.
