Jean Moseley Lucas, 61, of Oklahoma City, passed away May 8,
1993. She was born January 22, 1932 in Ft. Worth, Tx to the late
Peyton Moseley and the late Juanita Jean Moseley . She enjoyed
her family, her antique shop and working with her husband in his
photography business. She is survived by Jim Lucas , her husband
of 44 years; her son, Mike and wife, Edralin; her son, Scott;
her daughter, Julie and husband, Bob Thompson; five
grandchildren, Trent, Jonathon, Jason, Christina and Jennifer;
sister, Judie and husband, Ron Cardwell; several nephews and
nieces and many special friends.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 10, 1993 at the
Guardian West Funeral Home, 5820 NW 41, Oklahoma City. In lieu
of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made to Family
Hospice, 4900 Richmond Square, Suite 203, Oklahoma City, Ok
73118 or to the American Cancer Society.

Jim Lucas, was born 12-29-27 in Mill Creek, Ok. He joined the
U.S. Navy 10-9-45 thru 3-1-48, attained the rank of Fireman 1st
Class, and earned the WWII Victory Medal and the Asiatic-Pacific
Campaign Medal, while serving on the USS Lyman K. Swenson. He
enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps 3-10-48 and was honorably
discharged 10-15-52 with the rank of Sergeant. He married Wanda
Jean Moseley 9-9-49. Jim was a photographer for 31 years. He
spent the first 21 of those years working for OPUBCO. In 1967,
he formed his own company and worked for advertising agencies
and other commercial businesses. Jim was a well known community
leader, serving as councilman for Warr Acres, and on the
Auxiliary Police Force. He was a member of the International
Photography Hall of Fame and Museum, and supported the arts in
Oklahoma City and elsewhere.
Jim was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Jean ; 4 brothers,
Bruce, George, Campbell, & John, & 2 sisters, Odecye & Tressa.
He is survived by 2 sons, Mike & Scott & a daught er, Julie; & 5
grandchildren.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at Bill
Merritt Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests
that donations be made to The American Heart Association.
