Olivet - Mrs. Emma Lusk, 68, Olivet, died Saturday (February 27, 1971) in an Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, hospital where she had been transferred from a Chanute hospital several days earlier. 

Mrs. Lusk was postmaster at Olivet since 1938. She was born February 11, 1903, at Olivet and spent her life in the Olivet community in Osage County. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Olivet where she was the pianist many years. 

Her husband, Howard B. Lusk, died July 29, 1938. 

Survivors include five sons, Perry S. Lusk and L. Douglas Lusk, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Howard D. Lusk, Santiago, Chile, and Keith N. Lusk and Neil I. Lusk, both of Wichita; a daughter, Mrs. Ester Briggs, Winfield; four brothers, William H. Selig, Osage City, George R. Selig, Wichita, Ralph I. Selig, 1931 McAlister, Topeka, and Leonard W. Selig, Clay Center; 19 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. 

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church at Olivet. Burial will be in Alpine Cemetery northwest of Olivet. Jones Funeral Home at Lebo is in charge of arrangements.
