Magaw, Velta Rose, 8015 Glenwood, OKC, died March 3, 1984 at her home after an extended illness. 

She was born in Arcadia, OK. After graduating from Central State University, she taught school in OKC. Mrs. Magaw was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, The Clyde Harrison Sunday School Class, Oklahoma City Geologist Wives Assoc., The Ladies Music Club & The Oklahoma City Chrysanthemum Society. 

Her survivors include her husband, Stuart, daughter, Mrs. Tony (Sue) Viele of OKC & Lynnie Magaw of the home and 1 granddaughter. Also survived by her mother and step-father, Eva Mae & John Gundlock of Nicoma Park, her father and step-mother, William R. & Thelma Ruble of Arcadia. 

Grave side services will be at 1 o'clock Tuesday at Rosehill Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 2 o'clock at St. Luke's United Methodist Church. The family has suggested the St. Luke's United Methodist Church Foundation as an appropriate memorial. Directed by Guardian Midtown Funeral Home.

Magaw, Velta Rose, 57, school teacher, died Saturday. Graveside services 1 pm Tuesday, Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorial Services 2 p.m. Tuesday, St. Luke's Methodist Church (Guardian Midtown)
