Thelma Mason, age 74 passed away January 5, 1980 at South Community Hospital after a sudden illness. She lived at 3608 SW 37th. She was born in Texas, a housewife. She lived in Oklahoma City for 37 years coming from Thackerville, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Eastern Avenue Church in Moore, Oklahoma.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Wayne H. 'Helen' Smith of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Mrs. Aron Hayes of Texas, Mrs. Lorena Mason of Oklahoma City, Dot McLaughlin of Noble, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Brenda Hornung; two great grandchildren, Amy and Brad Hornung; five step grandchildren; one step great grandchild.

Services at 12 noon, Monday at the Colonial Chapel of Vondel L. Smith & Sons Mortuary. Burial at Resthaven Cemetery. Memorials to the Gideon Memorial Bibles.
