Dr. Ronald Glen Massad, 46, was born October 24, 1948 to Juanita
Wright and the late Lloyd Massad in Lawton, Oklahoma. He passed
away at his home in Newport Beach, California, Feb. 6, 1995. He
was a 1966 graduate of Bishop McGuinness High School and a 1971
graduate of Central State University. He then attended the
California College of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated
with honors, receiving a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in
1975. He completed a Podiatric Surgical Residency at Northlake
Community Hospital in Northlake, Ill in 1976, and in 1977
completed a further surgical residency at the California
Podiatry Hospital in San Francisco, California. He was in
private practice in his home town of Oklahoma City from 1977 to
1988, when he moved to California and became Chairman of the
Department of Podiatry for the FHP Health Maintenance
Organization in Costa Mesa, California, one of the nation's
largest health maintenance organizations. He was a beloved son,
brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and cousin, whose bright smile
and warm heart will be treasured always.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Juanita Wright, brother, Dr. Gary
Massad, niece, Lauren Massad, nephew, Blake Massad, all of
Oklahoma City; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Services will be held Tuesday, February 14, 1995 at noon at the
Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Chapel with Father James Goins
presiding. Memorials may be made to the California College of
Podiatric Medicine or the Carmelite Nuns of Oklahoma City.
Interment Fairlawn
