Mrs. Anna Marie Emma Maune (nee Dewert) was born in Franklin County, MO March 5, 1856, and died at her home near Oklahoma City, OK on Jan 12, 1927 at 9:50 pm. At the time of her death, she had reached the age of 70 years, 10 months and 7 days.
The deceased spent most of her life in Franklin County, MO where she was well known by many of the older residents. On Sept 27, 1901, she moved with her husband and children to a farm near Oklahoma City, where she made her home until her death.
On Nov 29, 1879, she was married to John Henry Maune and to this union four children were born. All are living and were at her bedside when she passed away. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, two sons, William and Henry, and two daughters, Misses Loouise and Anna, one daughter-in-law, five grandchildren and one brother, William Dewert of Union, many other relatives and friends. Her parents, two sisters, one brother and one grandson preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held on Sat Jan 15, 1927, from the family residence thence to the Zion Lutheran Church and interment was made in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Oklahoma City, OK, Rev. A. C. Dubberstein officiating.
