Betty Leigh McClelland, passed away on June 15, 2000, following a brief illness.
Betty was born on Mary 19, 1920 in Kansas City, MO to Ruth Hughes and Victor Whitehill. Subsequent to her father's early death, her mother married Frederick F. Salathiel of Independence, KS and Betty later assumed his name. The family moved to Oklahoma City in the early 1930's.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband of 59 years, James Bruce McClelland of the home, her daughter Barbara Anne Quillian and her husband Jay, and grandchildren.
Services will be private.
