Unexpected, Illness Fatal For Club Woman....
Mrs. Myrtle McRill, City club wornan and wife of Albert
McRill, former city manager. 509 Northwest Nineteenth street,
died Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital.
Mrs. McRill, 54 years old, became ill unexpectedly Saturday
night. She suffered a cerebral hemorrhage followed by pneumonia
complications. Funeral arrangements will be in charge of the
Street & Draper funeral home. Rev. Fred Ingvoldstad will
officiate and burial will be in
Fairlawn Cemetery.
Long active in work of the First Methodist church. Mrs.
MeRill also was a member of the Lades Music club. Hospitality
club, P. E. 0. club, McDowell Club of Allied A r t s. was a
member of the Y. W. C. A. board and a former member of the Red
Cross board. She moved here in 1908. from Illinois with her
mother, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Hart. who died in 1913.„ She was
married to McRill in 1919.
Besides her husband. Mrs. McRill Is survived by two sisters,
Miss Ethel Hart, city: and Mrs. Albert Hacker. Hebron. Maine.
and three brothers. John W. Hart. Vancouver. Wash.: Charles
Hart. El Reno. and. Thomas Hart. Kansas City. Mo.
