At 10, he got the part of Blake Kellogg in the tv series "The Mommies". July 26,2007 he was in attendance as Channel 5 news made their visit at Choctaw, Oklahoma for the day. Ryan and Micol celebrated their one year anniversary on June 25th [2005]. The 22-year-old actor with a home in Choctaw [The oklahoman - Feb 10, 2006] Merriman is still proud to call Oklahoma home.

Ryan's grandmother
passed away on Saturday, May 7th [2005] while he was shooting
"Final Destnation" movie. . At 88 years of age, she
had certainly lived a long and full life. She had a lot of
stories to tell with 88 years of history behind her. She was an
angel on earth and is now one in Heaven. This picture [above]
was taken at the senior day care center she went to. Ryan
dropped by to wish her a happy 84th birthday. Roses were her
favorite flower.
