Mabel Rose Meziere, 95, born April 10, 1908, in Campti,
Louisiana, died March 1, 2004, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mabel
moved to Oklahoma City in 1942. She was a charter member of St.
Patrick Catholic Church for 50 years, a member of the Altar
Society and Catholic Daughters of America, and a volunteer at
St. Ann's Home for 35 years.
Her husband, Matt Meziere and grandson, Frank Meziere
preceded her in death.
She is survived by her brother, Tom Meziere, children, Annie
and Reggie Greenlee, Matt and Peggy Meziere, Judy and Bob Smith,
Patrick and Mary Jo Meziere, Mary Gober, and Steve and Jacque
Meziere; grandchildren, Mike and Sonja Greenlee, Debbie and
David Thompson, Kathy Powers, Danny Greenlee, Cyndi Greenlee,
Mary and Jon Rutz, Tim and Sue Howard, Ken Howard, Gary and
Shannon Meziere, Sherry and Richie West, Angela Smith, Michelle
Smith, Joseph and Dee Ann Meziere, Jason Meziere, Jeff and
Jonice Meziere, Jenny Meziere, Chris and Lindsay Gober, Alison
Gober, and Matt Meziere; great grandchildren, Kimberly Greenlee,
Daniel and Amber Greenlee, Sarah Stiles , Misty and Jeff White,
Scott Thompson, Kenny Barthelme, Jessica Powers, Nikole Powers,
Shanna Rutz, Samantha Rutz, Genevieve Howard, Adam Howard,
Tiffany Howard, Trevor Meziere, Cody West, Chase West, Tyler
Meziere, and Addison Meziere; great great grandchildren, Kylie
Greenlee, Shelly White, Bailey White and many loving nieces,
nephews, and friends. Memorial gifts may be made to Catholic
Charities.
An Evening Prayer Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday,
March 5, 2004, at St. Patrick Catholic Church. The Mass of
Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 6,
2004, at St. Patrick Catholic Church with interment to follow at
Resurrection
Memorial Cemetery.
