Mrs. Nattie Helen Minter,76, of 1449 NW 40, died in her home
Wednesday following a two-year illness. Funeral is pending at
Watts Funeral Home.
Mrs. Minter and her husband, W. L. Minter, were well-known
for their work among the deaf. The couple devoted more than 30
years to aiding persons so handicapped financially and in
finding employment.
Mrs. Minter was born near Dallas. She later lived in Tenn and
came to Oklahoma City from Kansas in 1912. She was a member of
St. Luke's Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Jay Cole Minter, a brother, Dick
Kellow, Charlotte, Tenn, and two nieces and two nephews.
