Frances
Eileene Mitchell, born April 20, 1918 and known as Eileene to
her friends and family, passed peacefully on December 26, 2008.
She was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, graduating
from Central High School. On April 20, 2001, she was awarded a
Certificate of Theology from Oral Roberts School of Life Long
Education. Eileene lived in Little Rock during her husband's
service in the Army in WWII and lived with him in various cities
in Arkansas until his career with Southwestern Bell Telephone
was completed and until his death in 1982.
She is survived by three daughters, Rita Kaye Robinson and
husband Dan, Julie Ann Blevins and husband Ken, and Vicki Flo
Mitchell and partner Patricia Grossman three grandsons, Stephen
Dunn, Christopher Blevins, and Mitchell Blevins and wife
Jennifer two granddaughters, Kimberly Dunn and Joanna Blevins
and husband Aaron Robinson and four great-grandchildren, Shelby,
Cooper, Grace, and Harper Blevins.
Eileene was preceded in death by her parents, R.E. and Ethel
Cook her husband Woodrow W. Mitchell her son-in-law Rev. Ronald
Louis Dunn and a grandson Ronald Louis Dunn, Jr. She will be
dearly missed by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossings Community
Church in Oklahoma City or Agape Church in Little Rock,
Arkansas. A memorial service will be held at Quail Ridge
Assisted Living Center, 12401 Trail Oak Drive, at 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 31, with interment at Forest Hills Cemetery in
Little Rock, Arkansas.
