Monroe,
Bradley "Scotty", age 23, of Choctaw , passed away Thursday,
February 6, 1992, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. "Scotty" was born
March 8, 1968 in Madill, Ok. to Bobby and Brenda Monroe.
He was presently employed as a truck driver with Western
Motor Freight Co. and formerly with R&R Trucking Company for
nearly five years. "Scotty" will be remembered by others as a
person who gave them the gift of life by being an organ donor.
He is survived by his parents, Bobby and Brenda Monroe of the
home; one sister and brother-in-law, Tammie and Billy Higgins of
Oklahoma City, Ok; a niece, Heather Higgins; a nephew, Shane
Higgins; maternal grandparents, Jody and Jack Burkham of Arbala,
TX; seven uncles, eight aunts, numerous cousins and many great
aunts and uncles.
Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, Feb 8, 1992 at Paylor's
Chapel of Memories with Rev. Dennis Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw , OK
A 23-year-old Choctaw man died Wednesday
afternoon of injuries he received Monday
when his motorcycle struck a three-foot
retaining wall on Interstate 40 in Midwest
City.

Scott Monroe was westbound on I-40
at SE 29 when he lost control of his
motorcycle about 8:50 a.m., Oklahoma Highway
Patrol trooper Russell Maples said.
Monroe was trapped against the wall and
dragged as the
motorcycle slid 65 feet, Maples said. Monroe
then let go of the handlebars and fell 21
feet onto SE 29.
He was admitted to Midwest City Regional
Hospital suffering from multiple injuries.
Monroe was wearing a helmet.
