Rhoda Mae Munson passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at home in Oklahoma City. She was born April 12, 1928 in Seneca, Missouri to Burley and Stella White and she and her twin sister were adopted by P.G. and Pauline Street at 12 days old after the death of their mother.

She was united in marriage to Carl M. Munson on September 14, 1949 in Grants, New Mexico and they had just celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. She was a licensed cosmetologist and also worked as a secretary in the uranium industry in the Grants, New Mexico area. She was also an accomplished pianist, organist, and seamstress. She was active in the United Methodist Women and a member of Clark United Memorial Methodist Church.

Rhoda is survived by her husband, Carl of the home; two daughters, Wanda Kay Davenport , and Mary Alice Hensinger and husband Ronald, all of Oklahoma City; her twin sister, Mary Lou Stout and husband Wendell of Grants, New Mexico; four grandchildren, Dana Chaun Allen and wife Abby of Casselberry, Florida, Dawn Marie Allen of Little Elm, Texas, Kara Janelle Apalacio of Great Falls, Montana, and Ronald Hensinger, Jr. and wife Julie of South Haven, Minnesota; five great grandchildren, Alexander and Nicholas Allen, Lance and Sarianna Apalacio, and Colton Hensinger.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Preston George Allen, and her brother Leonard Lee White. Graveside services will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2005 with Reverend Jerry Raab presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clark Memorial United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
