MURPHY Retta Chloe, age 87, died December 13, 2000. She was born October 29, 1913 in Linn Creek, MO to Fred and Osa Stewart. Retta loved to sew and was a big family person, who loved to take care of everybody.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Michael. She is survived by her daughter, Michaele Mapes; grandson, Bryan Mapes and his wife Dawn; 3 sisters, Julie Rockhold, Treacy Nugent and Violet Stewart; and 2 brothers, Jim and Fred Stewart.

Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, December 15, 2000 at the Mausoleum Chapel of Resurrection Cemetery.
